What's The Motivation

I know I still have yet to post what I said I was going to. That's okay, bear with me. I was inspired this morning at work and wanted to share. It is not a huge revelation, something I am sure most of us know, but something we may forget or lose site of - What's The Motivation. More specifically we have to ask: What's My Motivation.

One word. Christ.

Christ is the reason we have a life to live, he gave that to us when he died on the Cross of Calvary. No matter what we are doing, where we are going, who we are talking to, what we are writing, where we are working, what we are thinking, we should do it all for one reason: Christ.

All for Christ, because Christ was for all. He died to give us this chance to glorify Him.

That is what we should remember. That is what I should remember. No matter what the situation is, no matter how I feel, no matter what I think I need to remember that it is because of Christ I am able to be here, working, creating, writing, thinking, talking, and I need to have Him at the forefront of my ambitions in life. If He is at the forefront, He is naturally guiding and leading, all I have to do is follow, and do that which will honor and glorify Him.

Too often I have let life cloud my eyes, my vision and I have strayed off the narrow path unto the side and gotten myself trapped. If I can follow the world, I surely can follow Christ unto His glory. You can too.

Today, make it a point to focus on Christ, and what he would have you to do rather focusing on yourself and what you would do. I will do that today: I will focus on Christ and what he would have me to do, rather than what I would have me to do.

If we can do that, we can change our day, our lives and maybe get others to follow and before you know it, we could change the world.

Christ changed it for us, we should change it for Him.
