Surgery

I have surgery 8:30 am on Tuesday Feb. 6th. Fun eh? At least they will get me fixed up.

I may be posting some on here this week while I am laid up from surgery, not sure yet.

Health

It seems funny, I break but in strange ways. I could see pulling a muscle from doing something stupid, or breaking my arm or a leg. I could even see other ways that would be "normal". But for me, I had a blood clot when I was 28......now I have two tumors just above my navel that are causing some discomfort, coupled with a possible umbellical hernia. The hernia I could understand - you strain yourself to cause damage. But tumors? Luckily the doctor has said at this point they appear to just be lipomas or just a glob of fatty tissue that has collected or grown without any known causes and they do not turn cancerous.

So anyways, strange things our bodies do to us.

Well, enough on that strangeness....I have some more ideas coming about some scripture I have been reading through and will be posting some thoughts about that in the coming weeks/months.

Great resources

Just wanted to point out to people who may visit here some cool web links have been added to the list on the right.

Thought of the day:
Celebrate Christ this year, not money.

Modern Technology

Yes, that's right through modern technology, anyone who loves me can now donate to My Harley Fund. Just click on the ChipIn box located in the right column.

Well, how is that for blatantly asking for money. Seriously, I am thinking of using the ChipIn box on another site I own as a way to gather donations for providing web design tutorials, page templates and layouts and so on (and yes I will may use it towards a Harley).

HOWEVER, I am thinking of creating an event for this blog that would be for saving donations to take a missions trip with my wife, or for raising money for specific Christian causes, such as rasing money for a rescue mission to help with meals, or if there is a church in need.
